Cycling Merit Badge Starting

Troop 44 Cycling Merit Badge – Fall Kickoff

We’re excited to announce that Troop 44 will begin the Cycling Merit Badge this fall! This is a great opportunity for Scouts to build confidence, learn safe riding skills, and work toward a challenging final ride of 22 miles.

Our first few rides will be easy, beginner‑friendly, and focused on safety, bike handling, and conditioning. As the season progresses, we’ll gradually increase distance and difficulty until we’re ready for our final long ride.

We will be completing Option B: Trail or Mixed Surface Biking.
