Program Areas
🏕 Camping
Monthly camping trips, summer camp, and winter camp — Troop 44 camps year-round across Florida and beyond. From state parks to high-adventure reservations, there’s always a trip on the horizon.
🏔 High Adventure
Troop 44 has a proud tradition of high-adventure expeditions dating back to 1980, including Philmont Scout Ranch, Sea Base, and Northern Tier. All trips are led by Wilderness First Aid-certified adults.
🦄 Rank Advancement
A structured Roadmap to First Class helps new Scouts advance in their first year, with a clear path all the way to Eagle Scout — the pinnacle of Scouting achievement.
🎖 Merit Badges
Regular Merit Badge Nights at troop meetings, plus a structured 2 and 4-year Eagle-required MB rotation ensure every Scout stays on track toward Eagle.
🥇 Leadership Development
Youth-led and proud of it. Scouts progress through a structured leadership training pathway — ILST, NYLT, and NAYLE — developing real-world skills they carry for life.
💰 Fundraisers
Troop fundraisers help offset the cost of camping, high adventure, and equipment for all Scouts. Every Scout can earn funds to cover their own Scouting expenses.
