FREE, yes you read that right – FREE, because it’s important for the future of shooting sports! TRPC supplies the eye protection, ear protection, rifles, ammunition, targets, mats, and certified NRA instructors.

An Awesome Opportunity

This program is an awesome opportunity for your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and neighborhood kids to safely learn about guns, gun safety and proper use & handling of firearms. The program starts with small bore .22 caliber rifles on a NRA 50-foot Rifle Qualification Course, which lets the young shooters start at a low qualification level from a supported prone(laying down) position. The course works through prone, sitting, kneeling and eventually standing positions, requiring progressively greater levels of skill. Earn patches and metals as you improve and move up at each skill level. TRPC will supply the .22-caliber rifles, ammunition, targets, safety equipment and NRA certified instructors. Once your child has built up some confidence with a rifle, we will introduce them to shooting clay targets with a shotgun, see Junior Clays. What should I wear? Dress for the weather, shoes required, no sandals or flip flops.

Parental consent is required on these youth liability waivers. A notary will be on site the morning of the program to complete the forms at no charge. ALL parents and non-participants MUST sign a Non-Member liability waiver. All forms are also available at the registration table.
